- NICE guidance is usually published as Medical technologies guidance, Diagnostics guidance, or Technology appraisal guidance
What it doesn't do
NICE is not responsible for deciding if a technology should be reimbursed or given market access (although NICE advice and NICE guidance may be used by those involved in making reimbursement and market access decisions).
Data will not be shared if your technology is not identified as being potentially relevant for inclusion in NICE guidance or NICE advice.
If your technology is identified as being potentially relevant for inclusion NICE guidance or NICE advice, you will be contacted to check that you are happy to participate and to answer any questions you may have. Data about your technology may be shared externally with selected experts that are bound by NICE confidentiality agreements.
The team will review the information you have submitted and contact you within 5 working days.
